Dr. Fred Jones

Dr. Fred Jones has been a chiropractor for over 25 years graduating from New York Chiropractic College in 1984.

He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and served as vice-president of the District 6 Chiropractic Association in 2004 and is actively working with legislation in Albany to secure insurance payment equality in the medical field.  Dr. Jones is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and has a Masters Degree in Whiplash from the Spine Institute of San Diego, California.  He is also the team physician for the Long Island Rough Riders, Long Islands Professional Soccer Team.  He is a certified Back Safe Industrial Consultant with a Disability Impairment Rating Certification from the Parker College of Chiropractic.  Dr. Jones has frequently been used by area attorneys to provide expert testimony for auto and personal injury cases.

Dr. Jones  is a member of the Merrick Kiwanis Club, Merrick Chamber of Commerce and the Freeport Emergency Rescue Volunteer Fire Department. He was selected as Merrick’s Professional of the Year in 1995 and Merrick’s Man of the Year in 1998 for his many volunteer efforts within the community. For the past 5 years he has coordinated a Fathers Day Antique Car Show to benefit the Merrick High School Scholarship Fund.  Dr. Jones is also an avid cyclist and has participated in an amateur segment of the “Tour de France.” Cycling has empowered him to inspire others about the importance of a healthier lifestyle.
